Evidence-Based Support for Neurodivergent Families
Northwest Family Care is a research-based parent coaching and therapy program built on a simple idea: When caregivers are supported, grounded, and confident, children thrive.
When you are raising a neurodivergent child or a child with a disability, it can feel like you are being asked to take on roles far beyond being a parent, such as therapist, teacher, case manager, advocate, or behavior specialist. Many parents are led to believe that taking on these roles is essential for their child’s success. However, research (and lived experience) suggest a different path.
When caregivers feel supported, the whole family benefits.

A Different Approach
When you’re no longer trying to be everything:
-
Challenging behaviors decrease as regulation and connection improve
-
You respond instead of react
- You feel more grounded in hard moments
-
Your child experiences more connection and safety
-
Parenting starts to feel more manageable—and more meaningful
